My state fair visit was terrific, not for the fair but for the OUTSTANDING show...and my meet & greet with cutie pie Blake Shelton:

That's a Purple Brodea, which grows wild in Arizona, just like me! I'm lucky to live in a part of the country that has gorgeous wildflowers much of the year.
